Huawei has reinforced China-Tunisia cooperation in digital development after hosting a high-level seminar focused on smart education and telemedicine services, highlighting technology’s growing role in advancing public service delivery across North Africa.
The seminar, held in Tunisia’s capital, brought together government officials, healthcare professionals, educators, and technology experts to explore how digital infrastructure can improve access to quality education and healthcare. Huawei presented solutions ranging from smart classrooms and digital learning platforms to telemedicine systems designed to bridge gaps in medical services, particularly in underserved communities.
The discussions emphasised how information and communications technology (ICT) can support Tunisia’s national development priorities by improving service efficiency, reducing inequality, and strengthening institutional capacity.
Tunisia has identified digital transformation as a cornerstone of its socio-economic reform agenda, with education and healthcare among the most critical sectors. Huawei’s engagement aligns with the country’s efforts to modernise public services through technology-driven solutions.
