Tanzania Unveils Its Ultra-Modern Judiciary Headquarters in Dodoma.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan inaugurated the new judiciary headquarters in Dodoma, the nation’s capital. Constructed by China Railway Jianchang Engineering Company (CRJE) (East Africa) Limited, the nine-story building spans 63,244 square meters and houses Tanzania’s highest judicial bodies, the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court. The facility is equipped with advanced features, including artificial intelligence services, visitor-guiding robots, and a dedicated helipad.

President Hassan emphasized that the new headquarters aims to enhance the administration of justice across the country. She noted that this significant investment, along with ongoing training programs for judges and judiciary officials, underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening the judiciary’s capacity and efficiency.

Jiang Yuntao, chairman of CRJE (East Africa) Limited, highlighted the company’s longstanding dedication to Tanzania’s development, citing past contributions such as the Parliament Building and the University of Dodoma. He reaffirmed CRJE’s commitment to supporting the capital’s growth and socio-economic advancement through quality construction and local talent development.

This development underscores China’s ongoing support for Tanzania’s infrastructural and institutional growth, reflecting a broader commitment to enhancing legal frameworks and governance across Africa.
