To celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations, the Chinese Embassy and Mozambican partners inaugurated a photo exhibition in Maputo, showcasing the shared history and cooperation between China and Mozambique.
The exhibition features nearly 150 photographs, organized across three thematic sections: historic milestones, development achievements, and people-to-people exchange. The images trace the evolution of bilateral ties, from early diplomatic engagements to contemporary cooperation in infrastructure, health, education, and culture.
In opening remarks, Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique and Mozambican officials highlighted the exhibition as both a celebration and a recommitment: to build on decades of solidarity, deepen mutual understanding, and expand future collaboration.
The exhibition will be open to the public for a limited time, offering Mozambican citizens, students, and visitors an opportunity to reflect on how far China-Mozambique ties have come and envision what lies ahead.
