China and Botswana have elevated their bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, opening a new chapter in cooperation spanning green minerals, infrastructure, healthcare, human-resource development and international affairs.
The announcement followed talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Botswana President Duma Gideon Boko in Beijing on Tuesday, October 13, during Mr Boko’s state visit to China.
